There is no doubt that Vassili Samolis carries the Axiom gene. Born and raised in Greece, Vassili founded his first company, GreatApps, at only 21-years-old. While building the business, he worked as their Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product. In parallel to GreatApps, Vassili and two friends built iSteam, which became became the number one iPhone app in the world. In 2010, Vassili joined McKinsey & Company, where he advised international tech CEOs on strategy and growth for the better part of a decade. He eventually immigrated to San Francisco, where he currently leads Business and Corporate Development efforts for Pinterest with a focus on the digital and mobile ad tech space. Vassili holds an MBA from Stanford and an MSc in Financial Economics from Oxford University.

Ime is a business thinker with a technical background – he started his career as a software developer for IBM before moving into corporate strategy. He joined Facebook in 2010 and has led many of the tech giant's most impactful partnership efforts including Internet.org. Ime is a graduate of Stanford GSB and a board member of Year Up Bay Area, where he has helped dozens of young adults access opportunities to connect to the economic mainstream.

Charmaine Crooks C.M. is Axiom Zen's secret weapon in blending the worlds of technology and sports. She is a member of the Order of Canada, five-time Olympian, corporate director of several public/private boards, strategic advisor for start-ups, companies and major events and a sought-after speaker and moderator. She is also a former International Olympic Committee (IOC) member and served on the IOC Press, Ethics and Athletes Commissions and IOC New Media working group. In 2006, she was the recipient of the IOC Women in Sport Trophy and is a member of the UTEP and British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame.

Brahim loves envisioning the potential of VR to transform our lives and is actively working on making it a reality via Google's Daydream platform. He previously led Google Play Commerce, where he helped build the profitable platform on Android that now markets over two million apps. Brahim is a graduate of Stanford GSB and has been featured several times at Google I/O. Prior to Stanford, Brahim worked on Amazon Instant Video, co-founded one of the first sharing economy startups, and served with Deloitte and the World Bank.
Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer, Strategy Capital
Hamilton Helmer has spent his career as a practicing business strategist. At Helmer & Associates (later Deep Strategy), a strategy consulting firm he founded, he has led over 200 strategy projects with major clients such as Adobe Systems, Agilent Technologies, Coursera, Hewlett-Packard, John Hancock Mutual Life, Mentor Graphics, Netflix, Raychem, and Spotify. Over the last two decades he has also utilized his Strategy concepts to achieve high alpha as an active equity investor and is currently Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder of Strategy Capital. Prior to Helmer & Associates he was employed at Bain & Company. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Williams College. Mr. Helmer is Chairman of the Board of American Science and Engineering (NASDAQ: ASEI) and currently teaches Business Strategy in the Economics Department of Stanford University.

Andrew is a serial entrepreneur and experienced technologist. His latest company is Team Labs, reinventing the payment card for teams. Prior to starting Team Labs, Andrew founded & sold Urbantag, secured banks and payments at Verisign, and networked supercomputers at NASA. Andrew is exceptionally adept at applying startup principles to large organizations; it's easy to see why he gets along with the Axiom team.

Steve is the Axiom group's go-to resource for legal matters. He is unique among lawyers in that he comes equipped with a business mindset and a relentless focus on the customer. Steve started his career at Fenwick & West before moving on to working directly with well-known privately-held and publicly-traded companies including GitHub and CloudFare.

Joel is an entrepreneur turned investor turned professional athlete. As an early team member with Facebook, Joel was pivotal in building an engineering culture that has stood the test of time, helping set up the famed Facebook bootcamp and engineering management training programs. After Facebook, he helped start the wearable tech company Athos and entered investing with A# Capital.

Shawn Sprockett is a Principal Designer at Airbnb and a Design Instructor at General Assembly. His work has spanned a wide breadth of industries over the last nine years, from Victoria's Secret to IBM. He was also featured in the Techies Project, an initiative that promotes diversity by sharing the life story of talented tech makers in the Silicon Valley.
Venture Hacker, AngelList
Dave is currently a Venture Hacker at AngelList, working on product and code for AngelList's recruiting and networking platform. He was a “growth hacker” before the term was coined; he spends way too much time doing funnel analysis and checking on AB tests. Dave previously co-founded Lookmark, a social news sharing application, and Soy Division/Megatasty, which launched viral social applications reaching millions of users on iOS and the web. Prior to that, he was an engineer at HOTorNOT and Microsoft.
