It's an exciting time to be an Axiom as we are scaling up and accelerating growth across our group of companies. To do this we need help from a dynamic and friendly Talent Coordinator to champion our candidate experience and optimize our hiring process. Working alongside a team of world-class Talent professionals in our Vancouver office you'll create new relationships between future Axioms and their teams. Through your ingenuity and insights you'll be building multiple businesses and helping shape the way revolutionary new technologies are introduced to and adopted by new audiences.

What we’ll accomplish together:
  • As a member of our small but mighty talent team, you’ll execute on company-wide talent projects and initiatives. 
  • We garner a lot of interest from candidates locally and around the world, and we’d like you to champion our best-in-class candidate experience as we scale.
  • Build and strengthen the partnership between the talent team and hiring leads. You’ll show us a thing or two as you flex your expertise with coordinating interviews with our recruiters and hiring leads, often across different time zones as our candidate base is truly global. 
  • We travel at high-speeds without compromising quality - comfort with ambiguity will be key as you keep the talent team on track. As the consummate host at this party, you’ll always have a pulse on candidates as they move through the pipeline, while providing them with the high-touch candidate experience we’re known for.
  • Curiosity is at our core. We’re not afraid to ask questions as we innovate and implement process improvements that help us move faster and reduce our time to hire. You will be a catalyst of change as we continuously push our boundaries.
  • We’re fortunate to have relationships across a network of other startups and universities. You’ll not only leverage those existing relationships to source passive talent, you’ll also forge new ones with other organizations and educational institutions both locally and abroad.
A little about you:
  • You’re curious; whether you’re familiar with or new to the tech space, you’re interested in always learning more. 
  • You’re comfortable with “done before perfect.” The needs of our team can shift suddenly, so it’s important that you’re able to flow like water at all times: sprinting alongside our hiring leads as a role evolves and helping the team to solve problems quickly.
  • You are a people person. It might sound a little cliche, but you will be connecting with people all of the time, both externally and internally. It’s important that you have a knack for building rapport on the spot and leveraging your natural affinity.
  • You thrive when you can action and execute on multiple high priority items simultaneously with finesse. 
  • You can communicate yourself and your qualifications in terms of what you’ve accomplished, not your certifications or years of experience.
  • You relish in the opportunity to champion the experimentation of new processes, while collaborating with and seeking feedback from your peers as we push our boundaries. 
  • You wrangle logistical details, enjoy coordinating behind the scenes during candidate visits, and let your creative side shine through as you present those arrangements in a nicely packaged way.  
  • You have experience working with an ATS—or other types of recruitment or HR systems—and the different stages of the recruitment process.
  • You’re highly organized with an administrative, talent coordinator or HR admin foundation.
