The Role:

Head of HR, Head of People & Culture, Organizational Development Director—whatever you call yourself, you know how to foster a team’s professional growth while scaling a fast-growing company’s Human Resources department.

What we’ll accomplish together:

Axiom Zen is growing substantially this year. As a result, effectively scaling the company and our teams will be a key activity. In this executive-level role, you will engage in strategic planning while partnering with a team to ensure all team members are making a meaningful impact.

  • You will devise and implement strategies for improving our company culture and increasing engagement both internally and externally.
  • Within the first eight weeks, we’d like you to analyze our current contracts and onboarding process to ensure we’re compliant with labour laws and regulations.
  • After three months, we’d like you to champion change management efforts by assessing our current needs and delivering new company-wide processes.
  • Within the first three months, we’ll need your expertise in assessing our current team structures and anticipating upcoming roles so that we can effectively scale without losing momentum.
  • You will work with the team to establish learning and development programs within Axiom Zen to help increase engagement.

Our ideal candidate:

Culture fit is incredibly important to us and we’re willing to shape the role to fit the perfect candidate. That said, this is an executive-level role and we have an idea of what background will be able to make the most impact:

  • You have experience scaling a company or team, ideally in a leadership or executive capacity.
  • You recognize the value of company culture and that it's at the forefront of all people-related initiatives.
  • You anticipate needs or obstacles and prepare for them, moving fast and iterating on an imperfect solution instead of waiting for ideal circumstances or otherwise letting the problem fester.
  • You use policies and procedures to guide or expedite tasks. However, when faced with a situation where none are in place, you move forward to the best of your ability, eventually turning that experience into an impactful process.
