We are currently seeking an energetic Senior Tax Specialist to join our dynamic accounting and financial reporting function. This individual will be responsible for managing all tax aspects of the Axiom Zen group of companies, including but not limited to, ensuring timely and accurate global tax compliance, implementing tax strategies (e.g., transfer pricing) and ensuring compliance, preparing tax provision working papers to support year end processes and managing any communications with Canadian and US tax authorities, identifying and implementing domestic and international tax planning opportunities, preparing and reviewing working papers to support tax incentive claims (e.g., SR&ED), serving as a tax strategy lead to all members of the business, and managing relationships with key financial service providers as required to support the tax function. This role is key to building the overall tax strategy, identifying and mitigating tax risks through careful planning, and drives the accuracy and timeliness of the Company’s tax filings across all jurisdictions where Axiom Zen does business.
Together, we will build out robust and scalable processes and workflows from which Axiom Zen can optimize the growth and development of its existing portfolio, while augmenting the foundation from which we will launch the next wave of leading technology companies.
