Senior UX Designer (Games)

We're looking for a dynamic Senior UX Designer to work closely with our product and engineering teams to create delightful, fun, and memorable end-to-end user experiences. Every member of our team shares a common vision: to create the future we want to live in. We need the right people to help us realize that vision. You will shape immersive and delightful experiences for our digital products and games. As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll be the advocate for our users by creating interfaces that are intuitive, scalable, and fun to use.

The ideal candidate is excited to tackle hard problems, whether it be scaling our existing platforms or designing with new technologies. They have a knack for translating difficult concepts into intuitive interfaces and seeing problems from the user’s perspective. They love the intersection of software and gaming and bring both perspectives to the table. They thrive as part of a team and will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other supporting designers. We’re looking for someone who can execute strategies, make informed and reasoned decisions, and visualize solutions.

What we'll accomplish together:
  • Design end-to-end user experiences based on product objectives.
  • Work closely with our product, game design and engineering teams to ensure the best solutions for our users.
  • Define modern experiences while understanding the need to scale quickly for future scenarios.
  • Identify user needs by facilitating workshops, interviews, and user-testing plans.
  • Create prototypes to communicate product ideas to product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Workshop design decisions through critical discussion and backing up your ideas with solid research and reasoning, all while being open to feedback.
A little about you:
  • You understand a problem holistically from what’s technically feasible to what users might expect.
  • You have a strong grasp of the latest UX tools and frameworks used to outline problems and their possible solutions.
  • You can develop research-backed user stories, personas, and archetypes.
  • You can put together and execute user testing plans.
  • You enjoy playing games and understand the mechanics and ux frameworks leveraged in these experiences.
  • You have a strong understanding of typography, branding, and visual design techniques.
  • You understand and can implement the latest visual design techniques.
  • You have a flexible visual design style and can create interfaces for a variety of products.
  • You can conceptualize low-mid fidelity wireframes outlining required components and basic layout.
  • You can lead the creative process.
  • You’re able to wireframe and prototype an app.
  • You understand and execute on the overall direction of the product.
  • You can effectively communicate product design decisions to engineering teams.
  • You know how to talk to clients.
Bonus points for the following:
  • You have experience building games professionally.
  • Understanding of Front-end technologies.
