Technical Marketer - ZenHub

As ZenHub’s first technical marketer, you’ll operate at every stage of the marketing funnel, from acquisition through to referral. You’ll own both ideation and execution, translating our core value propositions into assets and experiments that drive awareness and signups.

In addition to collaborating with product, sales, success, and engineering teams, you’ll also work directly with our world-class customers, including: Adobe, Microsoft, Docker, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Shopify to name a few.

 

You’ll hit the ground running by:

  • Designing, running, and reporting on experiments aimed at generating top of funnel awareness and driving new signups to ZenHub.com.
  • Continuously testing new acquisition channels, taking a results-oriented approach to determine when to cut spend, or double-down on success.
  • Working with sales and customer success to create account-based marketing strategies that tie back to user growth in key customers and accounts.
  • Creating short form content for landing pages, email campaigns, and paid ads, ensuring that content is on brand and resonates with our target customer.
  • Conducting keyword research and translating findings to SEO (on-page / off-page) improvements that move the needle on website traffic.

 

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have a successful track record marketing a B2B SaaS product with 10,000+ users.
  • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude: you have marketed a technical product and know how to communicate complex ideas down to their core values.
  • Have a preferred marketing technology stack that you’re excited to introduce us to.
  • Have experience working closely with sales and customer success to market directly to existing customers and grow an existing install base.
  • Are overly ambitious, and get excited about solving tough problems and owning aggressive goals. You’re most comfortable outside your comfort zone.

 

Competencies:

  • Creativity, curiosity, and willingness to test and experiment
  • Comfortable working autonomously, able to manage time and focus
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics: CAC, LTV, payback period, etc.
  • Deep empathy and understanding of developers, technical audience
  • Drive towards making decisions with both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Clear, thoughtful communicator (verbal and written)
